Just like many other world travelers, I have been to far-away destinations and have felt admiration and awe at the sight of beautiful sunrises and sunsets. What I keep realizing, however, is that all I have to do sometimes is to just go up the stairs to the roof of my apartment building in Nicosia, or climb up the medieval Buffavento castle on the Pentadaktylos mountain range, or go for a swim at Dasoudi beach in Limassol at the end of the day, or head out to the rock-climbing sites near Droushia village in the Paphos district … and there it is:
